I’m Ellie, a pint sized London-based professional globe trotter.  With a French mother and an English father I grew up in destinations all over the world; from the snowy plains of Eastern Siberia and dry deserts of Oman to places closer to home such as Turkey, Holland and France. In between academic semesters I managed to cram in as much travel as possible and visited everywhere from Mexico and Guatemala to Australia, Japan, Dubai, Morocco, the Bahamas, Southern Europe and the majority of South East Asia. My work has taken me to India, Burma and all around the UK but I’m never too far away from my next adventure. This year alone I’ve visited Morocco, Scotland, Austria, France and India, and still have Cambodia, Vietnam, Loas, Thailand, Italy and Australia to look forward to.

My website is a compilation of ‘Top Ten’ lists on luxury hotels, restaurants, destinations and everything travel related as I  journey the world. Working in luxury travel means that I get to see some of the greatest places on earth. I write because I want to share amazing places and things as I discover them – so follow me to join me on my journeys around the world. I’m interested in art, literature, interior design, food, architecture and history, so you’ll stumble across my thoughts on these too.  I normally post an article once a month or so, so make sure to pop in every so often to see what I’m up to.

I love hearing from people who like my blog or have any travel related questions. As somebody who specialises more on Asia and Europe than anywhere else, I am always more than happy to feature guest posts that focus on other parts of the globe – please just get in touch.
